We have booked a private boat to have a fun day out on the river. We will be cruising on the river Thames in a small, private group offering a relaxing environment in a specially adapted boat for wheelchair users also. There will be activities on board such as cooking (making flapjacks and pancakes) and art, or even learning how to cast off and dock the boat. Or you can just enjoy the wildlife and hear about the places we see along the way.
Please remember to bring a packed lunch.
Meeting point : Barn Elms Sports Trust, Marathon Pavillion, Queen Elizabeth Walk (opposite the Wetland Centre), Barnes, SW13 9SA. The minibus will be leaving at 10.00am to meet the boat and returning to Barn Elms Sports Trust at 4pm. There will be accessible toilets at Barn Elms and free parking.
