Summer Activity Day Out, High Ashurst Outdoor Adventure Centre

Activity Day Out by minibus to High Ashurst Outdoor Adventure Centre in the Surrey Hills.  All disabilities welcome. Ages 11+.
High Ashurst is an outdoor activity education centre in an area of outstanding natural beauty and sits in 56 acres of woodland. We have arranged a morning and an afternoon session of adventurous inclusive and adapted activities which may include climbing and abseiling (both with hoist as required), orienteering, team games and off road wheelchair trails. The instructors have extensive experience of working with learning disabilities from mild to severe/complex needs and make each activity fun for everyone. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink on the day. Our groups are small to ensure everyone has plenty of time to enjoy the activities and you can do as little or as much as you want. Carers are encouraged to join in too!

Carers are free. All people with disabilities must be accompanied unless using one of our respite services. If you wish to use our respite service, please call us to discuss.

BEST(Barn Elms Sports Trust), Queen Elizabeth Walk, Barnes, London SW13 9SA. The minibus leaves promptly at 10.00am so please arrive in good time. There is plenty of free parking and disabled bays at BEST. Toilets are also available.
